2017 VANCOUVER DINE OUT 第一激

Vancouver Dine Out 今年又嚟啦, Jan 20 - Feb 5, 可以用CAD$20, $30 or $40的價錢去品嚐三度菜. 每年都會和朋友及酒友揀D新餐廳試吓. 未試新餐廳前, Jan 20, 2017 Dine Out 第一激, 去了酒友的聚腳地 - Burnaby Riverway Clubhouse, CAD$40 有頭盤, 主菜及甜品.

餐前小吃 - Sun Dried Tomato & Cheese Toast
 BUTTERNUT SQUASH & SWEET POTATO BISQUE
SEARED SESAME CRUSTED ALBACORE TUNA
marinated shimeji mushroom and frisee salad, miso vinaigrette, rice crumbs, wasabi crème fraiche
味噌味及芥苿味很淡, 我比較喜歡D菇
BRAISED CERTIFED ANGUS AAA SHORT RIB
這個只是頭盤, 但個Waiter話有成8 oz重, 因另一主菜 - 牛扒是12oz. He He, 我倆個都無揀
EXOTIC & WILD MUSHROOM RAGU
sautéed mushrooms, roasted cherry tomato & baby carrot,
quinoa polenta cake, duo balsamic gastrique
這個望落似蘿白糕的東西原來是藜麥, 通常吃藜麥是沙律.第一次咁樣吃藜麥, 外脆內軟就像吃蘿白糕的感覺.

LIVE LOBSTER & ALASKA KING CRAB BOUILLABAISSE
roasted atlantic 1/2 lobster, king crab leg, mussels, clams, pacific cod, calamari, fennel tomato broth, garlic filone
 這是我最期待的主菜, 有半隻龍虾, 皇帝蟹腳, 仲有魚,青口,蜆及魷魚, 配香濃蕃茄湯底 .
 RESERVE ANGUS AAA NEW YORK STEAK - 另一主菜12 oz牛扒

PASSION
passionfruit cremeux tart, sake macerated roasted pineapple, soho infused strawberry coulis
全晚最難吃的甜品, 百香果及菠蘿從來都是我的最愛, 但這個真的很難吃, 特別個Tart的餡, 朋友形容尤如正在吃BABY FOOD. OMG!


ICY BLUE
vanilla gelato, lemon meringue, roasted peach, basil glaze, blueberry sauce
這個OK


MATCHA SENSATION
matcha crème brulee, matcha and black sesame rice crispy
綠茶二重奏, 好好味, 特別係個綠茶芝麻脆米, 好濃綠茶味,啱哂我.
