Coast - Vancouver Dine Out 3 of 6
Jan 27 吃了第三餐dine out, Coast 是Global Group 期下,出名吃海鮮,以前亦有光顧過,水準唔差。頭盤揀了以下兩款。
Clam & Sunchoke Chowder white miso, sake, salt spring island mussels 湯
倒是一般,感受唔到有白麵鼓的突出,而Sushi Tile salmon & avocado roll, miso & cream cheese sauce, lobster tempura
都算得上OK.
主菜方面,我們都試哂三樣:
Miso Glazed Salmon escabeche style vegetables, wasabi-potato croquettes
Seafood Cioppino local shellfish, calamari, crusty garlic bread
Roasted Strip Loin creamy farro, pea-basil purée, red wine jus
牛肉都叫鬆軟,三文魚一D都唔滑,今次我對Coast非常失望,
自己在家煮都可以好過這碟三文魚, 至於個海鮮大雜燴, 始终The Fish Shack好味D. 因Coast沒有像The Fish Shack 用上龍虾湯湯底, 味道當然無得比.
甜品只得一種, Hazelnut & Gianduja Chocolate Profiterole banana anglaise, chestnut macaron, 其實是用一個Macaroon 同三Puff 個合成的一個甜品.
總括來說, Coast 當晚的水準真的不像以前了. 雖然當晚是Full House, 食物唔單止不好吃, 連服務也不像樣, 吃一頓西餐比吃一頓法國餐還要耐, 平均每半小時才上一道菜, 真的叫人吃不消 : (
