2016 Vancouver Dine Out - Night 4 @ Ancora Waterfront Dinning & Patio
今個年度,最後一晚的VDO,是朋友提議去的。餐廳原址是以前的C Restaurant, 现重新裝修,變成今天的Ancora waterfront and dinning
Ancora 的裝修很漂亮,给人開揚感覺,樓上有些餐桌,位置尤如坐在Baloney 吃飯一樣,有些椅子也很有特色的設計。
Ancora 服務超好,有專人幫客人放餐中,每份餐具都是從木盒拿出來,還有上菜時三人去招呼一張只有四個客人的餐桌。
APPETIZER
LOBSTER BISQUE
- chive crème fraiche
龍蝦濃湯 - 從未渴過一個龍蝦湯是這麽濃,每一口湯渴下去,口中亦存有龍蝦湯的味道,尤如大家喝紅酒時的after taste,勁讚呀。
CRAB CAUSA -
yukon gold, kalamata olive emulsion, quail egg,
huancaina sauce, yam chips
這是牛油果蟹肉沙律的變奏版, 只是加了一些特別酱汁,面層放半隻
鵪鶉
旦及底層放了一舊形容得好昂貴的薯仔和一小片脆甜薯。
ENTREE
PACIFIC LINGCOD PAELLA -
‘forbidden’ black rice, chorizo, Peruvian corn, smoked paprika emulsion
主菜的Ling Cod魚柳粗米飯,魚外層煎得香脆,內裡嫩滑。
BRAISED BEEF SHORT RIB -
roasted mushroom puree, onion marmalade, brussels sprouts,
baby carrot, natural jus
牛肋骨肉炆得很入味
SAFFRON FETTUCCINE
roasted fennel, artichokes, charred tomato, kalamata olives, aglio olio
素菜意大利粉帶少許香草醋汁,醒胃
DESSERT
YOGHURT PANNA COTTA
orange marmalade, pistachio, apple sorbet
甜品有奶凍配蘋果雪芭, 但吃起來是熱情果雪芭
及朱古力旦糕配溫尼拿雪糕。兩款甜品都很滿意。
CHOCOLATE RASPBERRY MOUSSE
raspberry compote, vanilla ice cream
整體來說,若5分滿分,我會给5分。
